The Pottsboro Cardinals baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats to 3 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Howe (Howe, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region II District 11 match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Howe edged Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX), 19-9, in a non-league match.
The Bearcats (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Pearce edged Hillcrest (Dallas, TX), 16-4, in a non-league match.
