In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Menominee Maroons basketball team scored a decisive 83-45 triumph over the Iron Mountain Mountaineers.
In their next game, the Maroons meet the Westwood Patriots (Ishpeming, MI) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 14. Menominee will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 17-4 record after their 76-65 non-league win over Jeffers (Painesdale, MI).
With the defeat, Iron Mountain moves to 16-6 on the year.
