In Friday's non-league outing, the Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) basketball squad beat the host To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM), by a count of 50-35.

The Buffaloes (22-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The go into the non-league outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Fort Sumner/House defeated Logan (Logan, NM), 37-30, in a non-league outing.
