Next, the Bears confront the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 15. New Bern will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Rampants enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).

The Comets now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Raleigh for a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Monday, March 14. Clayton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
