North Carolina High School Soccer - Topsail nudges Enloe

March 11, 2022: Hampstead, NC 28443

Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 12. Topsail will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Dark Horses enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).

The Eagles now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Forest for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. Enloe will confront a Cougars team coming off a 0-0 non-league Clayton (Clayton, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
