The Hoke County Bucks soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lumberton Pirates to 1 in the Bucks non-league victory on Friday.

Next, the Bucks face the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, March 15. Hoke County will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.

The Pirates now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 15. Lumberton will face a Colts team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Colts record now stands at 1-2.
