Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM), 21-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bernalillo for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12. Albuquerque Academy will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Navajo Prep falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Capital lost 18-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM)
