The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Northern Durham Knights to 4 in the Fighting Red Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Cedar Ridge moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Fighting Red Wolves host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Central 3A game on Monday, March 14. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-1. Western Alamance lost 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC) in a DAC-VII 4A game, on Tuesday, March 15. Northern Durham will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 3-1 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC).
