The Desert Vista Thunder softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Cienega Bobcats to 0 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Desert Vista improves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Thunder travel to Cypress (Cypress, CA) to clash with the Centurions in a non-league game on Saturday, March 12. The Centurions come into the game with a record of 4-6. Cypress lost 7-6 in their recent non-league game against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA)

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 11. Cienega will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to El Toro (Lake Forest, CA).
