In Friday's non-league contest, the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA), by a margin of 14-2.

With the triumph, Ponderosa moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bruins host Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 15. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Del Campo 6-6 in their recent non-league contest against Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA)

In their next game, the Lancers play the Galt Warriors (Galt, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 18. Cordova will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
