Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA), 23-10 in a league challenge.

The Dust Devils now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Virginia City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Dayton will face a Muckers squad coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Truckee falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to face the Vaqueros in a 3A North - East challenge on Saturday, March 12. The Vaqueros enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Fernley won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA)
