The Blue Devils now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Alexandria for a non-league match on Monday, March 14. Etowah will face a Valley Cubs squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Handley (Roanoke, AL). The Valley Cubs record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Hokes Bluff falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Geraldine (Geraldine, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Area 12 match on Thursday, March 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-1. Geraldine lost 9-0 in their recent non-league match against Southside (Gadsden, AL)
