Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Fayetteville Wolves (Sylacauga, AL) and the visiting Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL), witnessed Fayetteville's softball squad prevail over Talladega County Central by a count of 14-1.

The Wolves now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Childersburg for a non-league match on Friday, March 11. Fayetteville will face a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Talladega County Central moves to 1-2 on the season. The Fighting tigers host Winterboro (Alpine, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 8 match on Tuesday, March 29. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 2-3. Winterboro lost 13-1 in their recent non-league match against Comer (Sylacauga, AL)
