The Homewood Patriots routed the visiting Pike Road Patriots softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Ramsay notched a victory over Fultondale (Birmingham, AL), 19-2, in a non-league battle.

The Patriots now possess a 6-10 record. They play next when they host McAdory for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 12. Pike Road will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-6.
