Texas High School Softball - Lindale gets by San Marcos

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Lindale Eagles (Lindale, TX) and the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), witnessed Lindale's softball squad tip San Marcos by a count of 6-5.

The Eagles now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Weimar for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. Lindale will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Schulenburg (Schulenburg, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, San Marcos moves to 7-10 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Life Prep (Wichita, KS) to face the Fire in a non-league match on Friday, March 11. The Fire go into the match with a record of 0-0.
