Georgia High School Baseball - Athens Academy loses to Toombs County

The Toombs County Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Athens Academy Spartans to 4 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the 2A Area 3 match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Tattnall County was overwhelmed by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 7-0, in a league match.
The Spartans (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Savannah Country Day was overwhelmed by Calvary Day (Savannah, GA), 5-1, in a league match.
