Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) and the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Los Alamos's baseball squad knock off Manzano by a count of 17-10.
Coming up next, the Hilltoppers play the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 14. Los Alamos will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM).
The Monarchs now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rio Rancho for a non-league battle on Monday, March 13. Manzano will play a Rams squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Rams record now stands at 7-1.
