The Irondequoit Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Amherst Central Tigers to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Side for a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. Irondequoit will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 45-31 non-league win over Kings Park (Kings Park, NY). The Cyclones record now stands at 23-1.
