In Saturday's non-league outing, the Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Trail Blazers (Detroit, MI), by a count of 90-47.
The Pioneers (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ventures go into the non-league outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Bishop Foley smashed Lutheran Northwest (Rochester Hills, MI), 54-43, in a non-league outing.
The Trail Blazers now hold a 4-13 record.
