The Newman Fighting Cardinals basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Gibraltar Vikings to 54 in the Fighting Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Fighting Cardinals now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Royall for a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. Newman will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-40 non-league win over Wauzeka-Steuben (Wauzeka, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 23-7.
