The Marshall Barristers held off the host Montebello Oilers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Barristers now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Polytechnic for a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. Marshall will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
The Oilers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Moors enter the test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Alhambra was nudged by Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
