California High School Volleyball - Merced over El Dorado

Merced Bears (Merced, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host El Dorado Cougars (Placerville, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bears battle the Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 11. Merced will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 19-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Edison (Fresno, CA).

With the loss, El Dorado drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Edison (Stockton, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, March 11. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 0-1. Edison lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Kimball (Tracy, CA)
