The South Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Montebello Oilers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Dimas for a non-league game on Saturday, March 11. South will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA). The Saints record now stands at 3-2.
The Oilers (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Moors enter the Almont game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Alhambra dropped by Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
