The Venice Gondoliers topped the host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Gondoliers now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. Venice will confront a Pumas team coming off a 3-0 league win over Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 3-4.
The Vipers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Robert F. Kennedy Community was knocked off by Mendez (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
