North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 13. North Johnston will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC).
The Buccaneers now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eno River for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Bartlett Yancey will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
