Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) in a Super Six 1A/2A challenge, on Wednesday, March 15. Franklin Academy will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Unicorns enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Southern Durham (Durham, NC).

The Fighting Red Wolves now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Alamance for a Central 3A challenge on Thursday, March 16.
