In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Smiths Station Panthers soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Cherokee County Warriors.
The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Pell City by Helena (Helena, AL), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record.
