The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) and the visiting Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC), saw Clinton's soccer squad knock off Currituck County by a margin of 3-1.
The Dark Horses now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host West Bladen for a Southeastern Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, March 14. Clinton will meet a Knights squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Currituck County drops to 2-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to meet the Bears in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Monday, March 13. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-0.
