Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Enloe Eagles (Raleigh, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 13. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).
With the loss, Enloe drops to 3-2 on the season. The Eagles host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to meet the Catamounts in a non-league test on Monday, March 13. The Catamounts come into the test with a record of 4-1. Panther Creek won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)
