In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Southside Christian Sabres soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Midland Valley Mustangs.
The Sabres (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Providence (Lexington, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Providence was overwhelmed by Chapin (Chapin, SC), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Brookland-Cayce was overwhelmed by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 5-0, in a league battle.
