Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY) boosters were satisfied Saturday as they saw their ice hockey squad knock off the host Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY), 8-2 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pelham Memorial betters its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Pelicans travel to Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY) to confront the Lakers in a non-league bout on Sunday, March 12. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Skaneateles won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY)

The Chiefs now have a 13-9 record.
