In Saturday's non-league game, the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL) soccer squad tipped the visiting Fultondale Wildcats (Birmingham, AL), by a final score of 1-0.
The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles enter the 1A-3A Region 4 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Cornerstone was edged by Ashville (Ashville, AL), 7-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oneonta for a 4A Area 11 challenge on Tuesday, March 14. Fultondale will confront a Redskins team coming off a 8-0 league win over Talladega (Talladega, AL). The Redskins record now stands at 8-3.
