In Saturday's non-league contest, the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), by a margin of 7-0.

With the triumph, Campo Verde moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, March 13. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Mesquite lost 8-5 in their recent league contest against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ)

In their next game, the Centurions play the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) in a Foothill contest, on Thursday, March 16. Saugus will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 14-0 league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
