The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) and the host Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA), saw Doyle's softball squad nip Iota by a count of 13-6.

The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holden for a non-league match on Monday, March 13. Doyle will face a Rockets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rockets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Iota falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Port Barre (Port Barre, LA) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Monday, April 3. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 7-7.
