Utah High School Softball - Mountain Crest can't get by North Sanpete

In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) softball team held off the host Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT), by a margin of 8-7.

With the triumph, North Sanpete moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Hawks host Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Crimson Cliffs lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Bear River (Garland, UT)

In their next game, the Mustangs play the Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 11. Mountain Crest will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Desert Hills (St. George, UT).
