Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), 21-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clint for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11. Roswell will battle a Lions squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over El Paso Leadership Academy East (El Paso, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lobos host San Elizario (San Elizario, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 10-3.
