The Northwest Christian Crusaders softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Payson Longhorns to 11 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Northwest Christian moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 14. The Knights come into the game with a record of 0-1. Gilbert Christian lost 27-17 in their recent non-league game against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ)

In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 14. Payson will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Gophers come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 18-3 league win over San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ).
