The Menlo-Atherton Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Galileo Lions to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Bears now have a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palma for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 12. Menlo-Atherton will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Marina (Marina, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-4.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Summit Shasta dropped by Lincoln (San Francisco, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
