The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions soccer team (Durham, NC), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC)
With the win, Falls Lake advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to play the Griffins in a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 13. The Griffins go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Oxford Prep lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Eno River (Hillsborough, NC)
In their next game, the Flying Lions play the Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC) in a Triangle North 1A outing, on Tuesday, March 12. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
