The Austin Black Bears softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Pine Grove Panthers to 3 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Austin improves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Black Bears host Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 13. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 10-4. Hazel Green lost 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 12. Pine Grove will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
