Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) and the visiting Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Cuthbertson's softball squad prevail over Providence by a count of 12-3.

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 13. Cuthbertson will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Providence moves to 2-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 5-0. Porter Ridge won 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)
