With the triumph, Kaplan moves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Pirates host Bell City (Bell City, LA) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 13. The Bruins come into the game with a record of 8-4. Bell City lost 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Iowa (Iowa, LA)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 game, on Tuesday, March 12. David Thibodaux will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 30-5 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA).
