California High School Softball - Moreno Valley bounces Fontana

The Moreno Valley Vikings routed the visiting Fontana Steelers softball squad by a final score of 10-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Yucca Valley nudged Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA), 22-1, in a league battle.

The Steelers now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame for a Skyline battle on Wednesday, March 13. Fontana will meet a Titans squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.
