The Huntsville Panthers routed the visiting Hermleigh Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 14-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers go into the 7A Area 7 battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, Grissom was routed by Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS), 9-3, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Walker Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 12. Hermleigh will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
