The Pocahontas Redskins softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Highland Rebels to 1 in the Redskins league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Pocahontas improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Redskins host Forrest City (Forrest City, AR) to clash with the Mustangs in a 4A Region 3 game on Tuesday, March 12. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 3-5. Forrest City lost 20-0 in their recent league game against Southside (Batesville, AR)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 4A Region 3 game, on Thursday, March 14. Highland will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 11-0 league loss to Brookland (Brookland, AR).
