The Holden Rockets softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons to 1 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Holden moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Rockets host Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a B District 7 game on Wednesday, March 13. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 5-3. Mt. Hermon won 22-10 in their recent non-league game against Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a 2A District 7 game, on Tuesday, March 12. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
