Texas High School Softball - Ingleside bounces Taft

Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they host Santa Gertrudis Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. Ingleside will battle a Lions squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Taft falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, March 15. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Aransas Pass lost 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Luling (Luling, TX)
