The La Serna Lancers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Sonora Raiders to 3 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, La Serna moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Lancers travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to clash with the Dons in a Del Rio game on Tuesday, March 12. The Dons come into the game with a record of 5-5. El Rancho won 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Glenn (Norwalk, CA)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 13. Sonora will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Heralds come into the game with a 8-4 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to La Serna (Whittier, CA).
