The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA), saw Slidell's softball squad nip Northlake Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Tigers now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haynes Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12. Slidell will face a squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (New Orleans, LA). The record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Northlake Christian falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 12. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-10. Fontainebleau won 16-13 in their recent non-league match against Pine (Franklinton, LA)
