The Armorel Tigers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Piggott Mohawks to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Tigers now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gosnell for a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. Armorel will play a Pirates team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
The Mohawks (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rector (Rector, AR). The Cougars come into the 2A Region 3 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Rector was overwhelmed by Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR), 8-6, in a non-league outing.
